Kaylee walked out of her last class of the day at Jhoplin high. She completely detested the place, but stayed in school because her father wished it. He wasn't making her, it was her own choice whether to stay or go, but he had told her that he wanted her to stay. He hoped that someday she would be able to make a name for herself or be successful like him, but that could only happen if she stayed in school. And the incentives he gave her to stay in school weren't to bad either. The current one on the table was her favorite. If she stayed in school for half the year and kept a three point oh average, her dad would look into getting her a bike. She'd been begging for one since she turned sixteen. Instead she got a convertible. But hey, she wasn't complaining.
When she reached the red mustang, Kaylee unlocked the door and threw her bag in. It was a slightly beat up over the should messenger bag with the batman logo on it. She'd had it since freshman year and refused to get a new one until the current one fell apart. She then pulled the front seat forward, as the top was on, and pulled out a pair of black leather under the knee boots and a leather jacket. She swapped her heels for the books and pulled the jacket over her form hugging yet loose gray and very revealing v-neck. She then shut the door and pocketed her keys, wallet, and phone.
By now the parking lot was almost completely empty. Kaylee slammed the door of the car closed then leaned against it to wait for Ethan.

Ethan walked out of the school, looking up to see only a sparse amount of clouds. Bright, but not blindingly bright. Perfect day for a joyride. He already had the keys in his hands, whistling quietly to himself.
He had stayed after school for a bit of extra credit in his automotives class, which he should be teaching. He knew more about what he was doing than the teacher did! So he had even stayed after to fix the transmission in the teacher's car. With a small amount of cash bonus. Not much, just $50. But that was a lot cheaper than going somewhere to get it fixed, and he didn't really need he money. Then again..
He came out from behind the school, where the toolshed for the school was. He had cleaned off the oil stains on his face and gloves, for once. Of course, this was to impress the lovely Kaylee. Maybe today would be his lucky day.
He had already explained that he would be a little late to Kaylee, who was waiting for him in the parking lot. But he still hoped she wouldn't be too mad at him for keeping her waiting. Nobody should keep a girl like that waiting, but it made the game so much more fun.
He boarded his bike and revved it up, squealing in the rockmpath of the shed and driving to the parking lot. He noticed mostnof the cars were already gone, and he could see Kaylee waiting clearly even from where he was. He drove and parked beside her convertible and shut it down, but left the keys in place. They would get back on soon enough.
"Hello, sexy," he said, grinning already as she wore the all too usual revealing clothes even teachers drooled over, and not all of them male. He looked her over slowly and obviously, as she was always pleased to know when someome was checking her out.

As Kaylee leaned against the car, she decided to shoot her father a quick text to see when he was going to be home. If he would be there at eight or earlier, she would have to beat him home, shower, and get something on the table. Or at least call to have something delivered. If it would be later, she wouldn't have to worry about any of that. He'd pick up his own food and then lock himself away in his office to do more work. Within a minute, she got a reply from him. Sorry. I'll be stuck at the office late tonight. Don't wait up. She shot him back a quick reply letting him know it was okay and not to worry about her. Not that he ever did worry but she said it anyway to make him feel like a good dad. He really was one.
She slipped the phone back in her pocket and looked up right as Ethan pulled up into the spot next to her. She smirked as she looked at him. He really wasn't all that bad looking. And she really liked him. Most of the guys she would hang out with she didn't really like all to much. For some reason though it wasn't that way with him. Hey yourself bad boy. she purred as he looked her over.
In one fluid motion, she pushed herself away from the car and started towards Ethan. She walked around the back of the bike and placed her hand on his right shoulder. As she walked around to his other side, she let it glide to his other shoulder. How about a ride before you start teaching me? she questioned with a raised eyebrow and a knowing smirk.

Ethan smiled as Kaylee's fingers trailed from his right shoulder, to his left. She always did that. Habitual flirty move? He couod see how it could drive a few guys crazy. It felt like a major tease, but in a way that's what she was, wasn't it?
And of course, he was going to take her for a ride before he started teaching her. That's how most people preferred to learn, by watching. But he was still going to make a sexy comment. "Sure thing, but what kind of ride do you want first?" he asked, raising his eyebrows at her, which was what he always did but every time showed a different expression.
But, assuming her answer would be referring to the bike instead of the other meaning of 'ride,' he took the black and red matching helmet with a solid black visor off the handlebars and held it in his hand, and reached over to grab the other black one with a clear visor for her.

Kaylee smirked at Ethan's comment. Of course with all the flirting that had been going on between them, she wasn't surprised in the slightest that he said what he did. She was surprised to took him as long as it did though. She then leaned down and placed her lips near his ear. For now, the bike. she purred seductively. but why don't you ask me again later. After all, she didn't have anything she had to do tonight. She was free until her day decided it was time for their weekly dinner night.
She then stood back up to her full height and smiled at Ethan. She took the helmet when he handed it to her and put her arm through the strap. She then slid her leg over the bike and settled in behind Ethan. She then slid her arms around his waist and rested her hands on his thighs. Her hands then started to slid towards the inside of his thighs ever so slightly as she rested her chin on top of his shoulder. Now what. she breathed into his ear as her hands started to get a little bit more friendly.
She then leaned back and took her hands with her. She slid the helmet down her arm and unbuckled it. With a swift movement, she reached up and placed it over her head. She then draped her arms over his shoulders and let her wrists cross right against his chest as she waited for his move.

Ethan had expected that answer from her. With all the playful bantering they did, she always responded with 'maybe later' when the offer was presented, Ethan merely shrugged it off. He would get his chance eventually.
He had slid onto the motorcycle and Kaylee also did behind him. And even though he had expected her First comment, what she did next was very unexpected. Almost unwelcomed, as the result of her "friendliness of hands" made it slightly uncomfortable to drive.
He almost sighed with relief as she put on her helmet and moved her hands. He waited a second, hoping he would be able to speak now that the initial surprise was over. "umm.. W-well.." he cleared his throat. Wow, he thought, that was embarassing. he had just stuttered. Now she knew she had caught him off balance, and while that might make her want to do more to see how nervous she could make him, he didn't much like being caught off guard.
"You actually had it right the first time almost," he spoke, relieved he was speaking clearly now avter he had had a pause to get his scattered thoughts together. "And i'm not just saying that." he took her arms and moved them lower, a little above where she had originally made her hands comfortable. "That's where you normally keep your hands, as too high if a wreck happens or something you take the driver off balance as well. Too low, and you don't have as much of a grip, unless you do what you just did again," he added pointedly.

Kaylee giggle a little bit as Ethan stuttered. Cat got your tongue? Or maybe something else? she questioned with a teasing air. She really was having a bit to much fun with him. She then let her hands started to mess around against his chest. Her fingers lightly moved around and across his shirt. It was as if they were floating yet anchored down at the same time.
She stopped moving them as he grabbed her arms and moved them back down to his waist. She then leaned her helmet clad head to the side and rested her chin at an angle on his shoulder. She looked at him straight on, her gaze intense and unblinking. She studied him for a moment before blinking her bright eyes. She then moved her head a little to be able to whisper into his ear once again. You mean like this? as she questioned, her hands moved back down his thighs. Her fingers trailed along the inside of his thigh for a moment before she pulled her whole hand up. They went further then they had last time but stopped just short of where any guy would have wanted them to go.
She then leaned to the side so she would be able to see the front of the bike and Ethan himself. So are you going to tell me what everything does? Her eyebrow raised, once again waiting for his move in the game.

Ethan sighed and simply shook his head as she laughed and teased him, smiling slightly. Yes, she was going to get too much fun out of this ride, that much was obvious. But nkw that he was expecting it, it wouldn't unnerve him like it did.
And just as he thought, she moved her hand back down, closer this time, just short of where he wanted, and pulled away. He smiled again, but it was unnoticeable through the opaque visor. She was such a major tease. He loved this helmet because she could never see his facial expressions.
He rolled his eyes as she went from sensual teasing to actually curious about the bike. But of course she couldn't see it. He decided to throw her off, and not even make a sensual comment about her question. Though it was probably implied.
He pointed to the center of the front, where the gas was poured in, and told her what it was for, though it was common knowledge. He turned on he motorcycle but didn't rev it, still keeping them balanced with his left leg on the ground, though ready to srping at any second.
He pointed to all the triggers and guages, explaining what they did and how they worked. Nut as he was pointing to the speedometer, mid-sentence he kicked off and hit the throttle, but the motorcycle was so tuned the tires didn't even screech. It immediately went into speed, and he turned in the parking lot to avoid running off of it.
He laughed as he must have caught the amazing Kaylee off guard, and after driving really fast for a bit he brought it to a stop and balanced them, waiting for her response. "Did you get it all?" he asked, sounding sincere but smiling big as he spoke through the helmet.

As Ethan started to explain everything to her, Kaylee paid close attention. If she wanted to really have the extra push for her dad, she needed to know the basics. If she knew absolutely nothing about bikes, he would never get her one. And that was something that couldn't happen. She had to have one. Even if it was the last thing she did. She didn't know why, but she was obsessed with the idea of and having a motorcycle.
When Ethan started the bike, she shifted her legs so she wouldn't have to worry about moving them when he took off. She felt perfect fine and safe not anchoring herself to the ground. That was what Ethan was for anyways. She listened as he talked more but slightly tuned him out. She was distracted by him. And annoyed that she couldn't see his face because of his helmet. That, for some odd reason, was really bothering her.
Kaylee's eyes suddenly widened and her arms reflexively tightened around Ethan's waist as he took off mid-sentence without a warning. After a few seconds her grip relaxed and smiled a huge smile. This was ridiculously fun.
You jerk! she yelled at Ethan with faux anger as she took her helmet off. She swung her leg around and got off the bike. She could hear him laughing as she walked to the front of the bike and attempted a frown. She could tell he was greatly amused by the little stunt he had pulled. Reaching forward, she unsnapped his helmet and popped it off his head faster then someone could say what. Then reaching down she twisted the keys and turned the bike off. I almost got it all thank you. she purred as she put her hands on the handle bar and leaned towards Ethan, a smirk on her face.

Ethan laughed even more as she called him a jerk and got off the bike. he stayed put, still gripping the handlebars and looking through the faceless visor at her frowning face. She didn't seem too mad about it though.. But hey, he wasn't complaining!
In fact, he could tell her frown was fake. She had enjoyed it. He made a mental note that she was a thrill lover, something they both had in common and the whole reason he had even wanted a motorcycle. His dad had originally been against it, but since he also had oje of his own and Ethan built the red one, he had reluctantly allowed it.
His eyes widened in surprise as she snapped his helmet off faster than he could stop it, and his sly grin was still plastered on his face as she leaned closer towards him, purring in that sexy was that he loved. Wow, he could so kiss her right now..
And he was extremely tempted to, if anything just to see her reaction. In the battle of his mind, he decided against it and leaned back a little as she turned off the bike, using his foot to put up the kickstand so he didn't havr to balance it.
He wondered why she turned it off. Lesson over for now? He was ready for her to get back on and ride around some more, though this time with less surprises. Despite surprises being soo much fun..
"You asked for it," he replied cooly, looking up at her. "And why did you turn off the bike? Lesson over for now, got anything else in mind?" he asked, more seductively than he had wanted to, but hey again not complaining.

Kaylee let a small smile creep onto her face as Ethan started to laugh harder. She was trying hard to keep the frown on her face but it wasn't working very well. She was to excited over everything that had happened. It had been too much fun to be mad over. And hey, she enjoyed the thrills.
She smirked when she saw the look of surprised on his face when his helmet came flying off. He could throw surprises and so could she. She was completely amused by his sly smile as she leaned closer to him. She really did have way to much fun with him. Out of all of her male companions, he had to be her favorite. She considered him to be a good friend, maybe possibly more. There was definitely something there between them, whether she agreed with it or not. She just wasn't sure if it was enough.
For a heartbeat, she was entirely convinced that Ethan was going to close the small gap between them and kiss her. When he didn't, and instead leaned back a little more, she was surprised. The reaction didn't register on her face, but her eyes flashed with it for an unnoticeable millisecond. Part of her had wished he had done it. If he had, she would have been able to tell if there was that something more between them. And if there really was, if she wanted that something more to turn into something.
I know I did. she replied with her own sly smile. No, the lesson isn't over. Just put on pause for a moment. She leaned forward a tiny bit more. Hardly noticeable really. There was a teasing, trouble glint in her eye though that spoke for it.

As the frown got less and less authentic, he liked it more and more. Now he was sure she loved it. And if she thought a was a thrill.. There were so many things they could do. In fact, he was going to the lake with a few buddies next weekend.. Maybe he should ask her to come?
He'll do it later. "You look too cute when you try to frown," he said, grinning and enjoying the little show she was putting on. Yah, maybe she enjoyed that momentary look of surprise, and that much was obvious, but he enjoyed her little shows and surprising her.
He was a little disappointed he didn't see a reaction to him backing away, even though he hadn't done it to mess with her. He pushed an imaginary pause button in the air and leaned back forward. But then that glint in her eye gave him that little extra nudge... And he couldn't take it anymore. He held his hand up to tilt her chin just slightly, leaned in slowly..
He kissed her.
He had no idea what her reaction was going to be. Would she pull away? Slap him? He thought all of this the moment their lips touched, and now he could only wait to see what her move was.

Don't try to distract from the problem at hand. she said, trying to sound angry but completely failing at it. She continued to try and frown at Ethan, but it was failing more and more by the second. Now she was just trying to keep from laughing. The corners of her mouth started to twitch from trying to keep it in. Nope, wasn't going to work. Pretty soon she was laughing. And laughing hard. The laugh made her whole body shake slightly. She wore a huge grin the whole time and her eyes glittered with the smile and laugh.
Her laugh stopped suddenly as Ethan's hand grabbed her chin. She let his hand move her head without any resistance against him. Her eyes widen when suddenly his lips where pressed against her's. The shock of it froze her for a moment. She neither kissed him back nor denied him the kiss. Within a split second she was over the shock and started to kiss him back. Her arms reach forward and wrapped around his neck to deepen it before breaking it off. She pulled back a bit but her arms stayed resting on his shoulders, her fingers laced behind his head.
There is definitely something between us. she said after a moment of silence. What that something was, she wasn't completely sure about. Smiling, she leaned forward once more and kissed him again.

Ethan was scared out of his mind for a second as she neither kissed him back or denied him. That anxious anticipation wa sworse than outright denial. Then, she kissed back, and wrapped her arms around his neck, and he suddenly felt that everything was going to be alright, even though nothing was wrong.
She broke off the kiss, and they looked into each other's eyes for a moment, then she said the words he was thinking. He looked down at the bike. "Umm, that 'something' might be the handlebars," he said, smirking. Even now, he couldn't resist the sarcastic jab.
She leaned in and kissed him again, and he tenderly kissed back, slowly despite the eagerness he felt inside him threatening to shut down his senses. This time he broke off the kiss and stood up, getting off the bike but leaning on the seat, pulling her gently toward him.
Most people would look at Ethan and see ,ore of a rougher side than a gentle side, but as much as he hated it he was a lover. And in that one tiny first kiss he had fallen in love with her, even though he swore to himself after the last girl he never would.
The part of his brain that made sense told him that he was being stupid, that she was just using him for something, but at the moment that screaming voice was tiny compared to the thoughts of Kaylee filling his head.

Kaylee smiled at Ethan as she looked at him and him at her. It just felt right. She then chuckled at his comment. Yes, I suppose that is there too. She smiled at his little sarcastic comment. It really was funny. Of course, it was also avoiding the the conversation she had halfheartedly attempted to open up. Oh well. There would be plenty of time to have that conversation. For now, there were other matters to be attended to.
When Ethan broke off the second kiss, Kaylee stood back up all the way and watched him. When he got off the bike and started to pull him towards her, she playful resisted for a moment. She smirked and her eyes glittered with unlaughed laughter. After a moment she went to him and leaned light against his side. She folded both of her hand over his shoulder and rested her chin on them. She stood there, completely still, and just watched him. She could almost hear the gears moving in his head, thinking. Her eyebrows furrowed a bit as she tried to figure out what he was thinking.
So now what? she whispered, not wanting to break the comfortable silence between them. She moved her head so that her cheek was resting against his shoulder. Her brown eyes closed as she waited for him to answer.
